We apologize that we haven’t written on our blog in quite some time. As many of you already know October was a very busy month at Edward’s Garden Center. We had the pleasure of giving some of you a good scare and sharing happy fall memories with many others.
Our Kiddieland and Corn Maze were a huge hit for families and children. Each weekend we had the pleasant sound of little giggles and squeals. Thank you to everyone who visited Kiddieland and the Corn Maze. It was a great success and we can’t wait to do it again next year and maybe make it even bigger! Though not as successful as Kiddieland, many guests had a great time in our Walk of Ghouls haunted house.
Please take a look at our photo gallery on the website to see more of the fantastic photos our guests submitted.
With holidays just about a month away, our staff has been busy preparing for the Christmas season. As always, the Garden Center will have a beautiful selection of fresh cut Christmas trees, handmade wreaths, poinsettias, holiday gifts and custom holiday outdoor arrangements. Starting Wednesday, Nov. 23, our Christmas trees will be set up and ready to be sold.
To kick off the holiday season with our customers, we are hosting two events.
Twenty lucky people will be able to participate in our Holiday Topiary workshop on Nov. 27 at 11 am. Diane and other members of our staff will be showing the participants how to make a festive topiary. Cost for participation in the class is $30, which includes all supplies and instruction from our experts. If interested, call now to reserve your spot 570.287.4329.
If you can’t attend our Holiday Topiary class, you can begin your holiday season at our Holiday Celebration Dec. 3 & 4. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be here to take pictures with all the kids and they may even bring a few of their reindeer. We will also have face painting, music, snacks and maybe a few surprises. More information will be on our website and Facebook page as we get closer to the event.
We hope to see all our readers, followers and customers at the Garden Center over the next few weeks!
